The European Parliament today adopted a proposal for the appointment of members of the inter-parliamentary delegations, including the joint mixed committee of the European Parliament and the Macedonian Parliament, given by the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament, MIA reports from Strasbourg.
In the group of the People's Party proposed Ivana Maletikj (Croatia) Alois Peterle (Slovenia), Mariana Petyr (Croatia) and Maria Spiraki (New Democracy - Greece). In the group of Socialists and Democrats proposed Biljana Borze (Croatia), Isabella de Monte (Italy) and Sergey Stanishev (Bulgaria).
Bulgarian MEPs as a member of the delegation is proposed Angel Dzhambazki group of European conservatives and reformers. Since the Liberals also proposed a Bulgarian MEP Iskra Mihaylova.

Despite the fact that Dr. De Cruz is clearly one of the brighter bulbs in the chandelier (she has PhDs in philosophy and archaeology, her areas of interestes are things like Cognitive Science of Religion, Cognitive Archaeology, Philosophy of Cognitive Science, and her home institution doesn’t come up on my spellcheck) she has posted a very readable article that theists (namely Christians) who are also evolutionists might want to read.
Evolution, as we all know, challenges traditional Christian notions of how and when humanity (and the cosmos) began. Evolution and Christianity ARE incompatible, like I’ve been warning you all along!!!! Let me say, slow down cowboy. hong kong raisio The reasons for accepting evolution are still there , even if evolution raises some serious questions. The proper way forward is not to dismiss evolution like a bad dream, but to accept the theological challenge and the need to work through it.

You won t have to guess at Comal, the stylish restaurant conagra lamb weston on Shattuck Avenue in downtown Berkeley serving fresh, modern Mexican food and cocktails with an emphasis on Oaxaca and neighboring coastal regions. The menu includes seasonal dishes like halibut ceviche with cucumber and sesame; Dungeness crab salad with endive and mandarins; the Veracruzian classic, chilpachole de jaiba , a spicy tomato-based crab stew; and tacos stuffed with pickled cabbage, avocado aioli, and fish that s named, local, and sustainably caught using a hook and line.
But when restaurant guests starting asking Where did this fish come from? He and his colleagues searched for seafood distributors they could trust to tell them exactly where the fish came from. The exploration led to a partnership with Joe Conte of Water2Table, a San Francisco based seafood receiver and distributor.
Conte picks up local hook-and-line or sustainably netted fish directly from fishermen and delivers them whole to Bay Area restaurant kitchens within 12 to 36 hours of catch. Offerings might include wild king salmon from the Sonoma coast, anchovies from San Francisco Bay, or halibut from the Marin coast and Monterey.
Conte is a lifelong recreational fisherman who has worked in the restaurant business for 26 years. He has relationships with more than 50 fishermen, buying fish from 2 to 10 of them on any given day. Most of the guys I work with are small-boat guys, heading out for the day and coming back in. They re also the guys fishing with care and sustainably. The most unsustainable practices involve bottom trawling, dragging a net along the sea floor to scrape conagra lamb weston up everything. That s indiscriminate. Preparing the Crab: Crab meat may be purchased cooked and removed from the shell. To cook fresh instead, start by making a court bouillon a flavorful cooking liquid on the stove, and bring to a boil. Chef Gandin usually adds to the water some onion, garlic, celery, parsley stems, conagra lamb weston thyme sprigs, black peppercorns, bay leaf, juice of a few lemons, and a splash of both white wine and white vinegar. The liquid should be well seasoned but not salty. When the water is boiling, drop in the live crab, and cook for 11 minutes. Remove and let cool naturally, do not shock in ice water, since that can dilute the crab flavor.
When the crab is cool, remove and discard the carapace, entrails, and gills. Detach the legs. Chop the body into 6 pieces, and using a bamboo skewer, carefully pick out the meat. Use a crab cracker and skewer on the legs as well to pick the meat. As a general rule, crab yields 25 percent meat. So it will take 2 pounds of whole crabs to yield pound of picked meat.
To marinate the crab, place it in a bowl along with the diced jicama, chives, lemon zest, chile arbol, extra virgin olive oil and salt, and carefully mix so as not to brea

Hello method of preserving food friends!  Did you have a good weekend?  method of preserving food Adam + I flew to Dallas, TX over the weekend for a wedding.  It was just a quick overnight trip but it was kind of nice to have a little alone time {no pups} even if it was just for one night! It's definitely not a secret that we travel a lot.  In fact, when I really sit down and think about it I have been somewhere {meaning out of state} every single month in 2013 and that includes 2 trips to Europe + one trip to Africa!   Earlier this year I wrote a more in depth post on a few of my traveling tips { view here } and briefly spoke about the leggings that I always wear when we travel.  Last month, after 2 years of wearing them, I finally had to retire my favorite BCBG travel leggings.  They were sad, worn out, and had definitely seen better days.  Before our flight to Dallas this weekend, I popped into BCBG and scooped up a new pair......honestly you guys, I had forgotten how amazing these leggings are!  Since I've fallen in love all over again, I had to do a little post on why these leggings really are the best out there. He also loves his Tumi T-Pass Business Class Backpack that I bought him a couple years ago for a bday present. It allows you to keep your laptop in a special method of preserving food compartment of your backpack so you don't have to take it out and put it in a bin when going through security {he's kind of a germ-a-phobe when it comes to airports}. I have a problem of  a different sort.  I have been studying my butt off with all of this stock research.  I feel like I am understanding more and more but not comfortable yet as I haven't really paper traded anything and haven't really spent any money but I know in time that will come and that's okay.  Like you said, the market isn't going anywhere.  And, for once in my life I feel I have actually been quite patient and okay with it as that is how you teach it and it makes sense to me.  Plus, I also have not lost any money.  Rule #1 rocks . 
Some guy calls Jerry (my husband) on the phone from S_____ (broker),  telling him he can't lose any money or at least not much, talks to him for probably 10 - 15 minutes and has Jerry spending $20,000 on FDP (Fresh Del Monte produce).  When I found this out I could have killed him.  pt malindo feedmill I asked him why he felt the need to do that.  pt malindo feedmill He said to make a lot of money.  I'm thinking if it sounds to good to be true, more than likely it is.
I researched pt malindo feedmill this company , I don't like the sound of the CEO (sounds shady) and to be honest, I didn't give Jerry much of a chance to explain anything as I was so mad.  He can talk to a guy he doesn't know from Adam for 15 minutes and throw him $20,000.  I (his wife of 21 years, lets see if we can make it to 22) can research my butt off and try to do this the way I feel and also the way I thought he felt, is a safe yet profitable way, and where does it get me?  And even if the company does make a lot of money, just reading about the guy was giving me the creeps and it wouldn't have been a company I would feel comfortable investing in and I told him so.  Remember, it needs to be YUMMMMY . FDP's numbers are awful. Not a Rule #1 investment at all.  I think I am going to go crazy.

But I can look at FDP and give you my opinion for what it's worth.  And my disclaimer here is that I am a river guide, I have a license to row the Grand Canyon, to drive a car, to fly a plane, and that's it.  So for what it's worth here's how I see FDP :
I want to know whether I can put a value on this business at all.  Is it predictable enough to be able to make an educated guess about the future?  Let's start with the Big Five Numbers : ROIC : Long term it looks good -- above 10%, but big red flag on the latest ROIC numbers at 7%.  This is a sign of trouble.  The CEO is having trouble making a decent return on the owner's equity and whatever he can borrow. Red Flag #1. Sales Growth Rate :   Not bad at all.  Consistent.  Roughly 12%. EPS Growth Rate : Whoa.  Now that's some ugly stuff right there! It's totally inconsistent and over the last 3 years its dropping like a brick.  They are selling, but their costs are killing them.   BIG red flag. Equity growth rate : WOW.  Stellar!  24% roughly per year and totally consistent for ten years.  Except that seems weird with the terrible earnings growth.
So I dug deeper and noticed that Current Assets [see Balance Sheet ] were keeping up with all that great equity growth. So I clicked on the SEC docs and discovered since 1996, Del Monte is a foreign business.  Turns out they are a Cayman Island business with wholly owned subsidiaries in a whole bunch of different countries around the world.
Further turns out that the CEO/Chairman and three of the six directors are all members of the Abu-Ghazaleh family from Dubai, UAR and that this family owns 52% of the stock -- and therefore totally controls the business and the board of directors.  To ensure things stay that way, they put in place "anti-takeover agreements" to avoid being kicked out without a huge payoff. 
Among the gems in the filing is the fact that these guys are paying out 3.5% of net income to themselves as a bonus.  Which they got in spite of the fact that earnings dropped like a stone .  And on top of that they awarded themselves a nice $3 million in stock options.  15 officers got most of the $10 million they paid out in salary and bonus (not including the stock thing).  That works out pretty good for the top guys, I'm thinking, since VP's don't usually get more than say $400K a year.  Guessing here but maybe the top 2 guys made a few million each last year.
