A report from the University of Albany in Alabama, USA, reported that Chilean salmon is very healthy, unlike the salmon in Scotland (also puts into question grampian opportunities which is grown in Norway and Faroes Islands).
However, the report points out the advantage of consuming Chilean salmon: "Omega-3 fatty acids can be consumed in many varieties of fish, including wild salmon, or raised in Chile (which is detected very low concentrations of pollutants in farms) and some oils, peanuts and vegetables, "the report said.
