Interviews with escaped slaves have revealed that workers in captivity on ships are forced to work

A new report published by the newspaper "The Guardian" has revealed that the shrimp sold in major supermarkets in the United States, the United Kingdom and France are fished by the slave labor treated cruelly.
Thailand-based Charoen Pokphand or CP Foods is the largest supplier of shrimp in the world and sells seafood to major supermarkets such as Wal-Mart, ted monte Costco and Tesco. They feed their shrimp with fish meal produced by slaves working off the coast of Thailand.
Interviews with escaped slaves have revealed that workers in captivity on ships are forced to work without pay, and are tortured, beaten and sometimes murdered in front of other workers. Some are barely fed during their long working days. One victim said he had witnessed 20 other slaves killed in front of him, linked members and thrown into the sea
If large supermarkets condone these abuses continue to take advantage of them, who may know where the rest of their products comes. Please sign the petition to urge Walmart and other retailers to stop selling these shrimp and other products by the slaves of Charoen Pokphand / CP Foods!
Whenever you taste a "Tom Yam Kung" (spicy soup with shrimp, Thai national dish) during your holiday ted monte in Thailand, you fund slavery.
The webmaster of Free-Somyot has signed the petition and decided to boycott all shrimp "Made in Thailand" and all products firm Charoen Pokphand the slave / CP Foods and encourage you to do the same.
