Preservative-free apricot compote | culinary art with Doina
5 jars of 720 ml we used 2 kg of apricots and 10 heaping tablespoons of sugar. I washed well apricots, I drained the water and I cut in half on the largest. Smaller ones I left whole. For beauty and color compote I crawled through a handful of cherries and cherry. Put in sterilized jars, pots, the nest of pillows. Be sure to cover the pots with lids or something waterproof, before putting pillows. Let it sit until the next day. Still will be warm.
